Plan Your Schedule, But Don't Overfill It

Pick the sessions that actually matter to you rather than trying to attend everything.

Leave room to walk the halls, find people to talk to, and make the kind of connections you can't get from a recording.

Don't be afraid to stop by booths. You might think you're bothering them... but the people at the booth want nothing more than to talk to you (unless the only thing you'll ask them is why your channel isn't growing).

Remember to Take Care of Yourself

Convention sickness is real, and it sucks. You don't want to soak up all that knowledge and then be bedridden instead of creating the next video or implementing changes.

Bring hand sanitizer and skip the handshakes. If you must greet someone physically, an elbow bump is your best choice. And if you must give handshakes, remember to wash your hands immediately after and sanitize.

Don't get swept away by the flow of the convention. Remember to hydrate, or else you'll lose your voice before the convention even end.

Here's a tip: Bring or buy some Throat Coat tea with you. Drink it before or after you speak.

For the panels you're planning on going, try to be at the front row. This shows to the speakers that you're here to learn, and it makes you stand out.

Don't Undersell Your Channel

We see a lot of creators lose confidence once other people ask what their channel is about. But as a creator, it's important to share your work and be proud of it.

Talk about your like it matters... because it does. We've seen several creators at past events with only a few hundred subscribers who've since grown into six and seven figures.

It's also important to take note of your body language as it can show to others whether or not you're welcoming conversations. A smile and a wave can go a long way!
