Creating a new project

To create a new project simply:

  • Click “Create Project” from the dashboard
  • Enter a title for the project. This will double as the title for your adjoining script.
  • Use the radio buttons to determine if you would like to create a new script, or use an existing one.
  • If you have selected “New”, you will be presented with a “Create Script” button. (For further instructions see “Create New Script”)
  • If you have selected “Existing”, you will be presented with a dropdown menu, allowing you to select the previously written script. N.B. There must be a pre-written escript built in Tube Spanner for it to be available to you.
  • Now use the radio buttons to select if you would like to use a new or existing thumbnail.
  • If you have selected “New”, you will be presented with a “Create Thumbnail” button. (For further instructions see “Thumbnail Gallery”).
  • If you have selected “Existing”, you will be presented with a dropdown menu, allowing you to select the previously created thumbnail. N.B. There must be a pre-made thumbnail saved within Tube Spanner for it to be available to you.
  • Enter any notes that you wish to make at this point.
  • Select the text format you would like to apply.
  • Select the status of your project from “Draft”, “Ready To Record” or “Published”. These states are adjustable later on to keep your projects updated.
  • Click “Create Project” to save your choices.
